TWIN FALLS — Glen Walter Rasmussen, 98, of Twin Falls, died Friday, March 31, 2017, at Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls. Glen had to quit school after the 8th grade so he could work and help support the family.Glen was born June 24, 1918, in Declo, Idaho, to Carl Alfred Rasmussen and Eliza Laurinda Larsen. He loved playing his guitar and harmonica and played for thousands of people over the years.Sandra married John Klingler in 1970, and they moved to Long Beach, California. She was a devoted wife, amazing mother, caring daughter, loving sister, & constant friend. She is survived by her mother, Delores Frey; her husband, Keith A Kelly; her daughter, Heather Jensen; sons, Matthew, Joshua, & Mark Kelly; 2 brothers & 2 sisters, Richard Morrison (Cindy), Michael Morrison, Nancy Scherbinske (Rick), & Georgia Rhinehart (Paul).
His parents moved to Twin Falls when Martin was about 2 years old, When Martin was about 5 years old (1939) he went with his family to Red Fish Lake in the Sawtooth Mountains to camp beside the lake in tents.Harold leaves behind his wife of 49 3/4 years, Judy; his three sons and daughters-in-law; his brothers, Ron Lewis (Dottie) and Rex Lewis; one sister, Margie Moore; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous extended family members.A Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held at am, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome.He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, one son, and one grandson.A graveside service is set for Friday, April 7th at p.m. BUHL — Sandra Renee Kelly, 65, of Buhl, Idaho passed peacefully in her home March 24, 2017. Together they had 3 sons, Matthew, Joshua, & Mark Kelly.Martin worked at Van Gas (later Suburban Propane) for 12 years as a serviceman, 20 years as a manager, and four years as a regional manager, retiring in 1993.
