Services include: Swan Room: Monday: 10am – 3.30pm Tuesday: 10am – 3.30pm Wednesday: Closed Thursday: 10am – 3.30pm Friday: 10am – 3.30pm WRVS: Through more than 40,000 volunteers WRVS helps older people all over the country to stay independent at home and active in their community.
It is that practical little bit of help that makes all the difference – whether at home, getting them to where they want to go, bringing people together through social activities or supporting them in hospital or in an emergency.
For some people it’s a lift to see friends at lunch clubs and for others it might be collecting a prescription or a shopping trip.
It’s always personal and practical and makes a very real difference to the lives of many older people already in this area.
Our 110,000 students reflect all ages and interests, and come to us from all walks of life.
